I think Gboard is generally very good... So I'll still give it 5*.... But just to say that the update that installed on my device 09/07/24 produced a big slowdown (Android 10)... I've tried a reboot and no improvement. It's also failing to guess lots of words properly compared to before... I get the impression it suddenly can't keep up with fast glide typing and maybe misses some letters..

Have run screaming back to this keyboard! It's safe and works well! As other keyboard apps have made invasive and awkward changes that are a malware risk or non- intuitive to use. 😶‍🌫️ 🫣😱 Always my main! ♥️ (That is when you people don't break the correction strip accuracy.) Request: Please, a separate emoji pack with a ton more emojis—I really love having lots of them. My hours long search is done staying with Gboard falap.

Very easy to use, and has a lot of content to choose from regarding any app, bitmoji, emoji, etc. and I loveee that the emojis move now! Also, my talk to text is so, so accurate that I actually use it all the time, which I've never done before. Usually it's so inaccurate because they pick up all sounds around you it can't make sense of the word. I can use the talk to text in a crowded room and it'll still only pick up my voice. It's amazing 😍

Simply great. I realize. that it's just a keyboard, but it doesn't get in the way of itself. It has the options/ functions it needs and then stays out of the way. It seems the more I use it, the better it gets. . . 5.24.24 It's driving me mad, the voice recognition has stopped recognising punctuation period (for instance👀). Getting the mic to stay on to listen is also becoming a problem period <>

My favorite keyboard! I like the option to use voice or the sliding finger (for a lot of things, it seems to build up intelligent awareness of what you mean to type), copy/paste, hold to get special characters (use that more often than you might think). I don't use emojis much, but they are there when I want to. Haven't have any business at all.

Best keyboard app, cross-platform, too. I'm certain App Store rules don't allow it to be at its best on iPhone, but this is the best Android keyboard app I've seen. Autocorrect learns - actually learns (only on device, though, so words don't transfer when you switch devices) - and adapts to your specific typing styles quickly. The layout is great, and I love the customization options. Solid 5 stars!

Definitely recommended. You don't have to pay extra for special feature like other app. You can cutomise your background to anything you want. You can also easily switch from different keyboards. The best feature is probably the floating keyboard as it is really useful while I'm gaming on my phone. It's also has a goggle translate and scan text feature so you don't have to switch to other apps. I definitely recommend you get this app as there is no adds in my experience.

Edit: as of 24 June 2024, the below issue is fixed. I've been a gboard user for years, and it's been great. Unfortunately, very recently I've started having weird typing issues on the ChatGPT app and only on that app. Tried a different keyboard and there's no issue. Will use the other keyboard for the time being, and check back to see if it gets fixed.

Had to uninstall to stock version. The recent update makes my keyboard constantly freezes. I either had to force close the app or clear the data so it would work, but this would happen again after a while. This has been my favorite keyboard since phones ago, I like that we can keep this as simple and straightforward as possible. However, if this issue keeps on happening, I might start looking for a new keyboard to use.

Gboard is easy to use and is actually fun with their different themes and features that come with it. I don't run into any issues as far as like the coding for it you know bugs or anything like that or it freezing. And it has a lot of customizations to it which I really really like! I recommend it to all who are looking for a stylish fun and Smart keyboard! 🫶
