So far it's usable and it offers most of the essential features of a photo gallery app such as double tapping to zoom with one finger, rotating, cropping, basic filters, etc. However compared to the main Photos app it still lacks some of its features, especially in the main layout where it lacks some features like holding on a picture swiping to select multiple pictures with ease. I can see some great potential for it in the future.

I use this now on my phone instead of Google photos. It is much more efficient, quicker to load. It is able to look at the photos and videos on the phone as well as micro SD card. I really like the pared-down down Gallery Go by Google ;instead of the full-blown Google photos. You can still use Google photos. I highly recommend this program from Google. Everything just seems so much more intuitive and simple with Google!

Simple, unobtrusive, feature stripped photo / gallery app that gets out of your way. No fancy bells and whistles here. It just plain shows you your photos, ordered either chronologically or by folder name. That's it (for the most part). With other gallery apps being weighed down by progressive feature creep, I must say I find Gallery Go refreshing and it's minimalistic interface is a joy to use. More elaborate editing can be achieved by 'sharing' your photo in an actual image editor anyway.

Nice idea Google. I was waiting for something like this for a while. The only major problem that I've found is I can't select multiple photos/videos just by doing the "tap, hold and select". Hope you'll add that in future updates. Still waiting for an update 🙂. Found another annoying thing. The double tap to zoom is too much. I liked the scale of "Google photos". Can you please make it a bit smaller. Thank you for changing the double tap scale. Gonna wait for an update to add multiple selection

"Gallery" is a photo gallery app by Google. Yes, you can use "Google Photos" as a gallery app, but, it's a bit clunkier for that purpose. This app allows you to view and manage your photos offline with a very simple interface. I believe it was intended for Android Go phones; but it works well with any 'droid and gives stock-ish Android devices like Motorolas, Nokias, and Pixels the same functionality as what you'll find in the more customized Androids from the likes of Samsung and LG.

I find this app really awesome, in fact I love how you can select one photo then when I select the 3 dots in the corner allows me to select all for deletion, or move to a photo album. Lets say I have had more time on my hands to explore the app. I do use the editing tools but use other photography apps as well. My photography looks fantastic on my phone. I also love the collages as well. As for GIFs , yes they do play I made some up myself.

simple app that shows your pictures in a well done timeline and the editing is very basic but it uses Google's smarts so the results are solid. if you have a simple phone and want a good fluid experience i suggest trying this app out. Be aware that it doesn't backup your pictures it just shows you pictures that are local to your phones memory.

This app works great, it has a clean interface and is simple to use. I can create folders and move pics and videos to the folders with no problems. I only wish I could keep a folder after I empty it, this gallery as well as other galleries do not let you keep folders when there are no items in it. I also appreciate there are No ads.

Great app. I have tried many different free gallery apps, but this one is probably the best one yet in my opinion. I had to move to a different gallery app because my default one started having problems, and I tried finding a free app that was simple to use. Plus, a lot of the free apps has ads and stuff, but this doesn't. Definitely deserves a 5-star rating.

it's actually really good, I like it and you schould get it (only if you want to) and I was searching for a gallery app and this one is perfect. And I told my family to get it becouse they have also been searching for a good gallery app and this one is perfect for every age my mom really likes it my dad too my sister too!!! Its really easy to access (my opinion) and it's just perfect yk. I think almost everyone knows the feeling of perfect and I have that feeling right now!!! Anyways cya :) :D.
